WHY CALL ME BY YOUR NAME?
"In 2019, I was introduced to the movie “Call Me By Your Name." While the movie has not aged too well, its importance to me has only grown. My playwriting up until then could be described as depressing, trauma dumping, or just really really sad. But the film made me feel seen and acted as a catalyst for me to process what queer love looked like and the stories I wanted to tell."
